Manuel Herrera, HOLA Special Projects Director, actor, director and voiceover artist will direct an advanced voice-over technique workshop for the experienced actor who wishes to fine-tune his/her technique. The workshop covers: diction and voicing in Spanish; interpretation and rhythm; character voices, and narration; professional audition and quick study techniques. Previous HOLA voiceover workshop students invited. Applicants should supply blank CD to record work progress. Optional production of demo tape available at additional cost. Actual voiceover copy will be used for this series. Small classes

Most actors find that commercial and television work are the most lucrative areas of the our business. The majority of actors who pursue theater and film support themselves with their earnings from commercial and television bookings. But, there have been a lot of changes due to the fast turnaround that is necessary in these areas.

This seminar with Casting Director Amy Gossels is designed to help actors understand the important changes in the casting process that have taken place over the past few years, so that actors can maximize their work opportunities, particularly in commercials and television.

amyAmy will share information and give guidance that will be productive, results-oriented and tailored for both emerging and seasoned actors.

Amy will walk you through the necessary steps to better establish yourself in this business, and she will share valuable information as to which specific resources are critical and most productive for your career and the best way to use these resources. She will explain how things work from the perspective of a busy casting director and share insight and knowledge to help you get better consideration for projects with any casting office.
