About the class...
This on-camera acting course is designed to introduce the experienced actor to the fundamental techniques of film acting. In particular, the workshop will delve into the techniques required in any and all work in front of the camera and will cover situations universal within the film industry. Importantly, the workshop will focus on what is expected of the professional actor in any on-camera setting.

About Tony...
Thirty-five year veteran actor/director, Tony Plana, with over 60 feature film credits and six on-air series as a regular, most notably Resurrection Blvd. and Ugly Betty, received his initial professional training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, England. He has been honored for his work with multiple Nosotros, Shine, Alma, Imagen, SAG, Satellite, and HOLA awards and nominations. He is the Co-Founder and Executive Artistic Director of the EastLA Classic Theatre where he has adapted and directed provocative productions of Shakespeare plays and other world classics for disadvantaged students. Directing credits also include two comedy feature films, several television episodes including Desperate Housewives, and a half-hour sitcom. He has been a guest lecturer, master teacher, and conducted seminars in acting, auditioning, and directing at numerous universities throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico. http://www.tonyplana.com/

About Charles...
Charles Carroll graduated from Loyola University and pursued his professional training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. Charles has given acting seminars across the US, at Concordia University in Montreal, and taught acting at California State University. After developing a curriculum of classes at the Film Actors Lab in Dallas, he joined the faculties of Richland College, K.D. STUDIOS, and S.T.A.G.E. , teaching his own method of on camera acting technique. In 1991, he returned to Los Angeles, forming his ON CAMERA WORKSHOPS. In addition to coaching many up and coming young actors, his long-term students include many well-established professionals
